Yo people. TBB at NYP already! :D It's day3 of NEmation(:
We were animating a bomb explosion o_o And Jolene continued with tracing her doves xD We were filming the hands too.

Heys y'all!:D Jolene here to post bout today :3i feel i've not been contributing much lately rather than all da drawings n stuff though my drawing is not really good heh._. its jus amateurish compared to de sota ppl n all but i do have confidence tat my drawing skills will pull us through tis competition cause well its not really de drawings but de storyline n quality of de animation but tat does not mean drawing is not important!:D I will give my 110%[or mayb even more] for tis and well yeah i will try n improve my drawing skills heh ._. yeah~Well i also hav confidence in my dear teamates kelly perlyn n leopard prints heh._. joo hwee i mean =D LOLL yeah they always do all de research n stuff n cover for me so thank you so so very much peepo!:D Yeah and well honestly though today was tiring is wasnt tat bad n was really fun. I honestly tell u i look forward to tracing the doves frame by frame tmr._. heh duno wai :3 but yeah tmr is a big day as well for the big bang n hope y'all can continue to support us and tmr i shall post again n psycho u peepos :D LOLL joking joking~kk i need rest now to have enough oomph n enthusiasm for tmr so yeah nites y'all n kip banging~:D BOOM~TTB member Jolene signing off~:D

Yo fans of THEBIGBANG!
It's JooHwee here to update the team blog about our 1st day of Preproduction for NEmation!4 :D I can be a blogger already xD HAHA Like Claudia the blogger of NEmation. Cool huh! :D She's always around taking pictures and thinking of what to post on the NEmation blog(:

We were apparently the first team to reach there! Wow. Got our koufu vouchers from Grace(: Nice. $74! :O! I will get a picture of the koufu vochers and post it tmr xD

At around 9am when all the teams arrived, we went into the studio(: The instructors from Animagine were clapping (they were more enthusiastic then us, the participants haha!) Super cool/nice welcome :D. Wei Siong started briefing us on certain stuff, and house rules too! HAHA! Refer to the pic belowbelowxD

Oh and we are entitled to 2 Appolo (is that how you spell it?) biscuits per person per day and 2 packets of drinks per person per day! HAHA! So we had random break times in between (more for me, Perlyn and Kelly cos the start of NEmation Jolene, TBB's Artist! will be busier as she has to get the pictures drawn while we prepare for the stuff at the backxD)

And we watched a recap video of NEmation!4. Has definitely brought all of us memories of NEmation!4 I guess. It's been a pretty long way, isn't it? But everything's worth it! Probably the longest competition I've ever participated in my life! And the coolest one ever.

After that we settled at our workstation and waited for our instructor, Jason to brief us on stuff(:
Jolene started drawing stuff, Kelly started doing textures, Perlyn and I didnt really have a specific job, so we try to help in other areas like testing out the screen/whether the shadows could be seen/researching. With one man, what can you do?

After that the people from Razor TV came to interview us (or rather me. being a team leader is a chore! haha joking. no it isnt.) HAHA oh and they asked me a Total Defence quiz! Gosh. Luckily I do pay attention during assemblys xD Do visit our facebook fanpage/blog regurarly because we'll post new stuff/information about our team/story/clip xD

Here's a picture of the studio taken from where we were settled at. We'll try to get better pictures of the studio next time xD We're doing digital 2D animation by the way, Rotoscoping. The stop-mo people are behind those tents/curtains or whatever you wanna call em. xD

Had to film before tracing out, thus the video cam and tripod(: Luckily we have Perlyn (from Video division in AHS Infocomm xD) I'll try to get a pic of the whole scene setup tomorrow or another day I guess(: And when we transfer the videos tmr....I'll get snapshots of the shadows that we're doing HAHAHA!

House rules! I will get an overview pic of our workspace tmr(: HAHA All the teams got a copy each and everyone pasted it someone around our workspace xD

Oh and TBB was listening to Insomnia by Craig David HAHA! (You need music to get your team members to get moving man! , fellow team leaders, if you need to start your team members haha! Maybe skittles too! A skittle makes you jump!) You might see TBB singing Poker Face during Preproduction anyway. Cos it's our Team's Theme song! HAHA!

Okay lah! It's time for me to end this post! I'm really tired already! Guess I'll post again tmr. We're gonna make a saw and hammer tomorrow! And film/edit video. And turning videos into Rotoscoping (animation). Cool huh! I will update soon.

Yosh people, how long have we not posted mans.
HAHA we're really busy these days with CCA, so yeah! Anyway, it's JooHwee here to keep this blog alive by posting! MUAHAHA! xD

Last Tuesday (just in case you dont know when, it's 10 Nov 2009) - oh that's longlonglong time ago mans! THEBIGBANG went over to Kelly's house to prepare for our NEmation production period xD

And all we did was shadowing and puppeting. I bet you must be wondering why xD HAHA. To find out more, read on(:

2 days ago (19Nov, Thurs), Grace got us to think of a title for our clip. And now, our clip is officially named 'Building the future with our hands'. Do catch that clip when it is produced yeah! :D

It's officially 2days to NEmation!4 Production!(: It's officially 2days where we'll start our journey to make our clip! Sounds cool huh xD

Anyway, we will be at Nanyang Poly, from 9am to 6pm each day, OT if need be to complete our clip! Gosh. That sounds muchmuchmuch more tiring than normal school days man! But THEBIGBANG will do thier best and strive till the end of the 3weeks! Cheers TBB! :D

Hey there! (:
How long has it been since the last post? xD

Anyway, before we start posting on our journey during the 1-week selection process, here's an introduction of THEBIGBANG (as a team).

My team members would poke me whenever I say 'er...' / 'dunno' / 'huh...' Can't blame me, these are the most frequent words that I say! Oh wells, looks like I'm gonna scream here adn there during the production period -__- haha!

Haha, thats the song of TBB xD And Kelly's favourite song xD Haha. Now, stop poking me!

Jolene is the 'artist' in our team so we had her to help us draw more complicated pictures for our storyboard during the 1 week selection. Whoo! Thanks man! :D She's also the most high and enthu member haha xD There she goes "hello judges!!!"

Perlyn is a 'good girl'. HAHA! Well, she is cooperative xD And she does research super fast! T_T. Im feeling slow. And doesnt really poke me! :D

Anyway, it's 14 more days to NEmation!4 Production Period! Right, I will post on the 1 week selection process soon. We're meeting tmr to discuss on some stuff haha :D To find out more about our story/animation, keep on reading, and infer! Haha! :]

Here's the video that we made on Day2 of the 1-week selection process.

The main character is the Dungworm who is... A bookworm. He loves books so much he decides to eat a book, titled 'Boom!'

Anyway, we'd post about the 1-week selection process soon. Though you might not understand some parts, cos I posted in my point of view. We'd do a proper post on it someday. Haha xD

Hi people! It's been quite some time since we updated this blog :x HAHA, sorry. Anyway, it was Kelly's birthday on 27th Oct. The-Big-Bang [we shall use TBB for short], together with some other people from Anglican High School Infocomm Club and her friends stayed back after school to give her an AWESOME birthday celebration xD

Happy Belated Birthday! (: Well, "just admire the cake and ignore the words" -quoted from KellyxD

Basically, we just came up with a game for Kelly where she has to some stuff at some stations to collect her next clue. Look at the following picture. That was taken when she was at Station 2(:

Station 2 Masters want her to do pole dance. HAHA. We actually have the video, but we wont post it(: Anyway, one of the station 2 masters's from Team SuperSplash, one of the top 20 teams from Anglican High School(:

Anyway, the pole dance wasnt something thought by the organiser(: I aint that evil. MUAHAHAHA.

Anyway, here's the clue that Kelly was given at Station 2. As can be inferred from the diagram, I have poor drawing skills. HAHA. But it's okay. They still understood the cluexD So yeah. Station 3 was the Concourse and Kelly was asked to do something again. Okay, we shall skip this cos it's uh...Funny. And weird.

And here's our Station 1 and 4 Masters. They had to act out Kelly's mission at Station 1 [the library]. And I couldnt believe that they could get it done in such a short time! HAHA. We didnt manage to capture any video/pictures though. Anyway, Station 4's really funny, but oh well, I'm still in the midst of editting the video. Yeah. I have to edit the video cos I have to get rid of some people's unglams and irrelevant stuff :) Will post the video soon. Not that soon actually. Rather busy these days.

At the last station, Kelly found her present! (it was actually kept inside my locker, and she had to collect 3 numbers along her way during her 'game'. And she was made to dance 'Nobody' to get her last number to unlock my locker HAHA. I have the video, actually. But to be nice, I wont post:D )

And she's currently in love with her domokun (!)

And there, cutting the cake after everything. Whoo. And which TBB member's birthday is up next? I really have no idea. What a poor team leader I am haha x_x. Okay, I shall check out everyone's birthdays soon.

Oh yes, by the way, I will edit this post some day, cos I havent added a picture of the videographer and Station 3 Master(:
